The Michael Landau Group is a blend of vibrant sounds ranging from spooky quiet instrumentals to rowdy blues-voodoo rock ‘n’ roll with vocals. It’s a spiritual ride, music for the soul.This all-star band features Andy Hess on bass (formally of Gov’t Mule, The Black Crows, John Scofield) and Gary Novak on drums (Chick Corea). Michael started his career on a world tour with Boz Scaggs when he was only 19. For the next three decades, Landau has recorded with, and or toured with: Pink Floyd, Miles Davis, Joni Mitchell, Robben Ford, B.B. King, James Taylor and Rod Stewart to name a few. He has appeared on more than 700 albums, including soundtracks, which means you HAVE heard Michael Landau. He is an expressive, mind blowing player, a renaissance man of modern music.
