The Blue Ribbons, fronted by James Rohr, is an americana/rock band from the Boston area. Rohr began his musical career at the age of 5 and became interested in jazz due to his father's late night radio shows. He started playing the tenor sax and the clarinet and began playing rock, jazz, orchestral, and electronic music. He first started playing gigs at the age of 14 and found himself in numerous R&B bands and a piano trio. He now plays in The Blue Ribbons, backed by two talented musicians Mike Castellana and Jef Charland.
