Brian Bergeron

Acoustic / Folk Rock

Biography

You may recognize Boston based acoustic singer/songwriter Brian Bergeron from his appearances at Boston's prestigious Paradise Rock Club, Paradise Lounge and Club Passim opening for touring acts such as Matt Nathanson, The Pat McGee Band, Stephen Kellogg and The Sixers, Josh Kelley, Live and Collective Soul. Or maybe you’ve seen him busking on a hot summer day in Faneuil Hall. Or maybe you’ve been to one of the other 200+ shows Brian has played in coffee shops, colleges and clubs over the past two years. Though only twenty-two, Brian Bergeron has accomplished much in the Boston music scene. Boston's Metronome Magazine raved, "Brian Bergeron is a young musician with a very promising musical career ahead of him. He evokes emotion and passion with every song he performs."

Bergeron’s backing band, The Late Greats, have helped to put his career on the fast track. Their sound that is best described as acoustic rock infused with elements of pop, folk and alt-country. They have been most often compared to artists such as Damien Rice, Ryan Adams, and John Mayer. Their live shows put as much stress on the nuances of Bergeron's introspective songwriting as on creating a fun atmosphere. The band is currently preparing to go into the studio to record their much-anticipated first full-length release.
