T2 Productions presents CASH BASH!, a night of music and videos celebrating the legacy of Johnny Cash. Three bands with a flair for country and American roots music will help channel the musical spirit of this American icon. To enhance the experience, there will also be a collection of video clips to help bring Johnny Cash's spirit to life.
The musical line up includes Rev. Bob and The Darkness, who will deliver a rich sermon of southern Americana, Georgia Overdrive, a rowdy outfit that does a new take on classic country, and Sarah Levecque who with her gentle vocals and bold pickin' will represent some of the more sensitive sides of "The Man In Black."
The timing and location of this event is no mistake. The following night, April 24th, "Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison" will be screened across the street at the Somerville Theater. The screening is a part of IFFBoston, the Independent Film Festival Boston, that is running from April 22-28. The film is produced by the long standing Boston production company, Northern Light Production.
Outside of the music and videos there is sure to be plenty of western snap wear, knee slappin', shameless sing-a-longs, and a lot of love for The Man. Whether you're a long-time fan or someone who has just discovered Cash, this will be an amazing night of music!
