Charlie Kohlhase's Explorers Club

Charlie Kohlhase has been leading bands in Boston for the last quarter century. His latest group, the Explorers Club, is a fully-realized 7-piece ensemble of virtuosos capable of executing his most convoluted compositional designs. Drawing on 100 years of Jazz history, as well as influences of rhythm and blues, 20th century composed music and world music traditions, the Explorers Club is a group firmly rooted in the past but unquestionably driving the music forward in the 21st century.
