Firedrill! is a Boston-based A Cappella septet dedicated to having fun and singing their faces off in front of whoever's willing to listen. On paper Firedrill! doesn't make sense. On CD Firedrill! barely even exists. Fortunately for the Boston-based septuplets, Firedrill! audiences leave shows with a clear understanding of what the group is about. Some call it, "Singing without music." However you say it, Firedrill!'s focus remains taking seven voices, seven day jobs and a Honda Civic-full of unpredictability and making fun, classy music. The group favors dynamics over boyband-ish gimmics and contagious enjoyment of songs over color-coordination.
