Johnny Hoy and the Blue Fish

Tried and true, Traditional Blues, Country and Rockabilly at it’s finest. Formerly of L.A.’s The Red Devils, Texas boy, Johnny Hoy moved to east coast in the late 90’s. His penchant for the Excello sounds of East Texas / West Louisiana keeps his live shows hoppin’ with Swamp Pop. In the “jam”balaya is a fair share of Bo Diddley, J.B. Hutto, and Little Walter, add a dash of Dale Hawkins and a pinch of Hank Williams, all sweetened with Arthur Alexander, and you have a blend reminiscent of the Iguanas meet the Mavericks. The real capper is, it’s for real.
