Latin Fire is a 13-piece Boston based salsa band containing 3 saxes, 2 trumpets, 1 trombone, 2 vocalists, piano, bass, drums, congas, and timbales. We play music in the styles of salsa, merengue, and bachata. They specialize in performing the repertoire of Latin Grammy winner/Berklee Alum '82 Juan Luis Guerra. Their other repertoire includes pieces by Luis Alberti, Ray Barretto, Oscar D'Leon, Los Hermanos Rosario, El Gran Combo, Celia Cruz, Cheo Feliciano, Tito Rodriguez, Ismael Miranda, La Makina, Marc Anthony, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Elvis Crespo, and Orlando "Maraca" Valle. They are open to any music in the styles of these artists and will honor all requests.
