TARBOX CD RELEASE SHOW!
One of our favorite bands!!! The nitty-gritty, primitive blues of Boston-based group, Tarbox Ramblers, stunned fans and critics alike with their debut self-titled CD. The magnetic appeal of guttural guitarist and gravel throated vocalist Michael Tarbox has carried the band through several CDs and national tours. On a chance night-off, Led Zep’s Robert Plant caught the Tarbox Ramblers and was so impressed, he immediately added them as opening act to his own string of dates. A riveting, jaw-dropping onslaught into pre-war urban and rural blues, that always remains close to the band's heart and soul, is blended with a slew of tough, shadowy original songs exploding with imaginative energy that are sure to get your feet stomping, and cat calls howling.
Tonight's show will be divided into two sets: one featuring songs from The Ramblers' repertoire and another debuting the new songs from Michael Tarbox's new solo CD. The band's expanding its lineup to include pump organ, viola, pedal steel and cello for this special evening of music!
