A dynamic contingent of local musicians have been enlisted by Veterans for Peace to produce a night of folk, rock, pop and jazz to benefit two Veteran backed antiwar groups, Veterans For Peace and Iraq Veterans Against The War..

Celia's original music weaves the catchy melodies typical of a Brill Building classic with perceptive lyrics inspired by artists like Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, and Richard Thompson, all of whom she also covers. [ Celia's site ]

and singing each other's songs at their own "porch parties," these
gal pals and established Boston area singer/ songwriters combined their individual

The Katrina Degel Quartet, consisting of Berklee
veterans Katrina Degel (vocals), Natalie Dietrich (vibes), Rodrigo Bonelli
(drums), and Jeff McAuliffe (bass), plays jazz, R&B, funk and originals.
Their unique sound is a result of their diverse repertoire, and the use of
vibes instead of the traditional piano. [
